Waiting Room

The waiting room is one of the most common spaces in modern life. Here, time is suspended, identity is simplified to that of a waiter, and unknown results leave everyone in a liminal state between anxiety and hope.

In this Waiting Room, collectively constructed by eight artists, we are invited to reconsider the meaning of waiting. Waiting is no longer passive consumption, but an active state of being where we are allowed to exist between multiple states.

This waiting room reminds us that dwelling in uncertainty may well be the most authentic state of existence for contemporary people.
